Odoo Field Service implementation
Jobs planned and reported from a phone, with the customer's signature and the invoice generated on site.
What it covers
- Job scheduling by technician and by area
- Phone application that works without signal
- Parts consumption deducted from van stock
- Job report signed by the customer on screen
- Maintenance contracts with recurring visits
- Invoicing from the job, for labour and parts
What a standard implementation includes
- Job types and their flow, from request to invoice
- Scheduling and technician allocation
- Van stock and parts consumption
- Job report template and customer signature
- Training for dispatchers and technicians
Indicative price for implementing this module, excluding VAT, when delivered alongside the rest of the system. Odoo licences are paid separately, direct to the vendor.
What increases the scope
- Contracts with graded response times and penalties
- Tracking installed equipment at customer sites, by serial number
- Route optimisation per day and per technician
Specific to the Romanian market
The job report signed electronically on the phone serves as the work document, and the invoice is generated from it and goes to e-Factura with no re-entry. For parts transported to the customer, where the obligation applies, the e-Transport document can be generated from the same operation.
Frequently asked questions
Does the field app work without signal?+
Yes. The technician loads the day's jobs, works offline and syncs when signal returns. We test that scenario explicitly before go-live, because it is the real situation across much of the country.
What does the Field Service module cost?+
From €5,600, delivered in three to five weeks, including scheduling, the field app, van stock, the signed report and invoicing from the job.
