The situation
The company wanted its own installation rather than a hosted subscription, and needed stock and equipment visible across sites before anything else. A road-construction business has material moving between depots and job sites daily, and the paperwork was following the trucks rather than preceding them.
What we did
Odoo installed and configured on the client's own infrastructure, then Inventory configured as the first live module, with Marketing added afterwards. The work was cut into three equal phases so the client could stop after any one of them and keep what had been delivered.
What came of it
141 hours delivered and invoiced across three phases. Inventory was the largest single workstream at 90 hours, which is where a construction business gets its return.
