The question we get most often is "what does Odoo cost". The short answer — from €12,000 for 5–15 users on standard modules — is true, but it does not help anyone understand why two companies of the same size receive quotes €40,000 apart.
Licences are the small part
On a 20-user system, Odoo licences are typically under 15% of the first-year cost. The rest is work: analysis, configuration, data migration, development where configuration cannot reach, training, and the stabilisation period after go-live. When you compare two quotes, compare those lines, not the price per user.
Three things that move the price most
How many modules go in the first wave. Sales, purchasing, inventory and accounting are the core and get implemented together. Manufacturing typically adds €9,600 and five to nine weeks, because it assumes bills of materials, work centres and a costing method that you have to decide, not us.
How clean the old data is. Migrating master data and balances is included in any serious quote. Document history is not, and rarely earns its place: it costs around €3,500 and in most cases gets consulted three times in the first year and never afterwards.
How many systems must be connected. Each integration — web shop, till, bank, field application — is around €2,800 and carries its own risk, because it depends on a system we do not control.
What should not cost you extra
e-Factura. Automatic submission to SPV with the ANAF responses recorded is part of Romanian localisation and should be in the base scope of any implementation delivered here. If you see it as a separate line, ask why.
Order matters more than budget
We implement in waves precisely because a module used in month three produces more than four modules delivered in month nine. Choose the first wave by where the most administrative time leaks today, not by the org chart.
The estimates above are published on the Odoo implementation page, and if you want a figure for your own situation, the configurator gives you an itemised one in two minutes without asking for contact details first.
